UNIT 16: ZOO ANIMALS
Lesson 1 (1,2)
A. Objectives:
- By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to ask and answer questions about animals.
+ Sentences patterns: What animal is that? It’s a lion.
+ Vocabulary: animal, tiger, lion, bear,giraffe, monkey, elephant, crocodile.
- Skills: Listening and speaking.
- Educate Ss to love and protect the animals.

+ Teacher: flashcard, small board, pictures

1. Oganization (1’)
How are you? What day is it today? What lessons have you got today?
2. New lesson. (30’)
* Warm up:
Ask pls to sing a song

Wc answer the questions.




* Look, listen and repeat.


Introduce the situations of the lesson by picture in the book.
Play the recording for Sts to listen and mime the speech bubbles.
Play the recording again for Sts to repeat the question and the answer in turn.
Divide the class into two groups. Have one group repeat the question and the other repeat the answer then change the role.
Play the recording again for the whole class to listen and repeat both the question and the answer.
Ask a few questions to check their comprehension.

Look at the pictures and talk about it.

Practice the dialogue in groups.
